A Better Reality Starts with Me

Paul writes in Ephesians:

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

What would a world look like with no slander, rage, bitterness, anger, no more fighting… What about a neighborhood, a marriage, a family, a church, a workplace…

This is “On Mission” as a follower of Christ… and it starts with me.

So we talk a lot about culture @ TheBOD. I looked at the definition of culture on dictionary.com today. It was long and confusing…

So what do you think a good definition of culture is?

Telling the story… through video

So I’m reading a new book on old ideas.  Story by Robert McKee.  

I’m only in the introduction, but I can tell it’s gonna be killer.

Here’s my favorite so far:

“The camera is the dread x-ray machine of all things false.”

McKee is speaking about the ability of a camera to bring the truth to the surface.  Nowhere to hide when the camera enters the room.  You are there for all to see and they are watching.  

Maybe that’s why God thought it was so important to come to humanity in the flesh in the form of his Son Jesus.  To expose himself to the “dread x-ray machine of all things false” and pass the test.
